Ryan, Rey and I dropped by Delifrance this afternoon to try out their latest offering: the Delifrance Tray Couture. There are four variants: Henri, Philippe, Cherie and Amelia.

I am a Henri: a set with half a Premiere Clubhouse and half Shrimp Pesto Pasta. The best part about this set? The crispy bacon in the sandwich and the plumb and juicy shrimp in the pasta.

Rey is a Cherei: a tray with California Chicken Clubhouse and Garlic Pesto Pasta. He and Ryan particularly loved the mango included in the sandwich.

Ryan, on the otherhand is an Amelia: a combo of Seafood Deluxe Clubhouse and Pomodoro Angel Hair Pasta. I loved the creamy crabstick spread and the lusciously red pomodoro sauce looks enticing indeed.

Philippe, the other tray comes with Tuna Onion Mayo Clubhouse and Beef Stroganoff Pasta, and I intend to try this out next time I go to Delifrance.

All Tray Couture comes with a shot of your drink of choice, creamy soup, crunchy breadsticks, and a rich chocolate dessert.

  1. I am a Cherrie, coz I think this California Chicken Clubhouse is not a “second-grade, trying hard copy cat” and the GARLIC pesto pasta is good for the heart… just like me 🙂

  2. i’m definitely for a cherie, i like it sweet and comforting just like a chicken clubhouse sandwich and a garlic pesto combination. it’s the perfect gastronomic companion after a crazy day at work when all I want to do is to relax in my own corner with my sandwich and piping hot pasta all by myself. no frills, no fuzz just my favorite comfort food to take all the stress away Ü

    ..would definitely try Henri. I love shrimps. I love pesto. Having to find them in one pasta is such a treat. and yes, the clubhouse! i’m a sucker for firsts. and here comes the premiere! tadah!

    I kill with a passion. The whole dish will be over before you know it. 😉 Nothing beats the tempting slash of bacon and bullets of shrimp, only to be blown away by the pasta’s pesto mine.

I believe I’m a Philippe, because it’s a classic example of lethal combination.It’s the kind of meal that makes you a little guilty because you’re loading up on carbs, but makes you guiltless after since the taste is just oh-so-heavenly!I guess I just love being in the best of both extremes.:-)

  7. Definitely Amelia! I’m a seafood lover and I always prefer angel hair to the regular spaghetti. This combo is healthy light and yummy so I won’t feel guilty coz its not gonna ruin my diet. Truly a delightful experience. Thanks!

  10. Given my tight work schedule, it’s always a balancing act between work and play. I play as hard as I work. To me, everything needs its balance! Even when it comes to meals, I see to it that I eat balanced meals. I need to have enough carbs, proteins, and nutrients that fits my diet. Of course flavor needs to be well balanced too! For these reasons, PHILIPPE Delifrance Tray Couture best reflects who I am. It has enough carbs from the pasta and bread to give me a boost for my busy schedule, enough proteins from the beef and tuna, and nutrients to last me the day. A well balanced meal for a well balanced guy like ME!

  11. I’d be a Cherie, probably. I come across as unapproachable to people who don’t know me but I’m actually very uncomplicated… as versatile as chicken with a punch like garlic, hahaha!

  12. I’m the health conscious Amelia, because healthy need not be dull, bland and boring. It can be just as delicious as you want it to be, all a matter of choosing the right foods for you. I realized I want to live longer so I’ve made a conscious choice to have more seafoods, fruits, and vegetables. When you get to my age you get to think about wanting to see your grandkids get married… so now I’m more like the health conscious Amelia.

  13. I may be a girl but I’m the hearty and down-to-earth Philippe!

    I don’t mind getting down and dirty when the occasion calls for it, like trekking in the muddy fields on the way to a mountaineering adventure. Believe me, I need energy to do that which is why I prefer my meals hearty!

  14. I am sure that I am a Cherie. I love the chicken. I love clubhouse. I love pesto pasta! Now, what should I be? It’s obvious!

    And by the way, I was craving for clubhouse and pesto pasta on when I was pregnant. But the sad thing, I didn’t have the chance to eat one of those during those “I want that.” times. Now, it’s still the “I want that” time 🙂

  15. I think the Delifrance tray couture that best reflects my personality would be when Amelia meets Henri. I’m a little bit of both, a chic Amelia and a laid-back Henri. I’m adventurous too so I’m definitely not a Cherie because she’s a CHICKEN and smells like GARLIC lol. And I don’t know about Philippe, there’s just something FISHY about him. 😉

  19. I go with Philippe because I flip out whenever I get to taste my favorite meat ingredients (tuna & beef!). Plus its my birthday (27th), so I guess I deserve a great treat from Delifrance. I also make my own version of beef stroganoff (w/ reed beet, red wine, special sauce), so I wanna explore the Delifrance way, the real way it is done…

    I eat heartily and so PHILIPPE it is!

    The Beef Stroganoff dish over noodles and tuna clubhouse would definitely satisfy my gastronomic appetite! I work like a horse and I would need all the protein to meet up the demands of my busy schedule.

  22. I’m a Philippe because I’m a straightforward and no-nonsense type of guy. I believe in working hard and playing hard. I need my carbs and my protein, and what better combination than fish, beef, bread, and pasta?

  23. An Amelia I truly am. Because I may look meek and mild on the outside, but I am just as naughty and spiced up on the inside! A gastronomic dichotomy of sorts to match a seafood-pomodoro fusion.

  24. An easy choice, am definitely a Philippe. The robust flavors and taste of Philippe positively mirrors what I want in life, to live it to the fullest.
